Many times I am the first person clients talk with at Kaplan Morrell, and often they are unsure or scared of what to do in their cases. I give them the confidence that we are here to fight for them. I help people get authorization for medical treatment so our clients get the medical care they need. I work hard that benefits are received in a timely manner. Interacting with people is one of the aspects I enjoy the most on my job, and I like to apply this philosophy: Treat people in the way your want to be treated.
I was born in Twin Falls, Idaho but grew up in Chihuahua, Mexico. I finished my High School in Mexico and a year after I decided to come on vacation with a friend to Colorado. A couple months after I arrived, I started working in Waterpik Technologies in 2000 doing an assembly job in a production line for six years.
In 2007, I started taking intensive English classes at AIMS Community College. I graduated from this program by the end of the year. In 2008, I started taking regular classes at Aims. In 2009, I started working at Aims as a Pre- Professional Accounting/ Spanish Tutor, and become part of Aims Honor Society Phi Theta Kappa, eventually graduating with an AAS Accounting Degree in May, 2010.
In September, 2010 I started working with the firm as a Legal Assistant.
I am a positive person who believes things happen for a reason. I love to spend time with my family. I really enjoy travel even though I don’t travel as often as I wish. Shopping, listening to music and doing nails are some of my hobbies. My favorite season is summer; I really love warm weather.
